I’m an American who’s been living in Tokyo, Japan for the about 5 years now.  After I arrived, I fell in love with the Japanese language and history and culture.  I’ll be making somewhat advanced posts about Japanese Language.  But when I write about Japanese Culture and History, I’m trying to explain them to my friends who live overseas.  In fact, that’s really the point of this whole blog.  I want to explain what life in Japan is like to those who aren’t here.  The Japanese Language posts are going to be geared at people who are studying the language and have some understanding.
